Canthia – Also known as Cantsu, a university building that houses, among other things, the Preemio office.

Haalaribileet (Kuopio Overall Party) – One of Preemio ry's biggest events, where you can meet the "overalls people" of Kuopio from various academic fields, all wearing a spectrum of overall colors.

ISYY – The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland, is an advocacy and service organization for students. Its members include all students pursuing bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Eastern Finland, with membership being statutory.
Juomakulttuuri – A mysterious concept (juomakulttuuri literally translates to "drinking culture") that university students typically spend five to six years unraveling.
KAMU – UEF//Kamu, the students' intranet.
Kastajaiset – A celebration where new freshmen are inducted as members of Preemio.
Kauppakadun Improbatur – A student event where participants collect stamps on their pass by visiting various pubs and bars in the city.

Moodle – The university's online learning environment where you can find course-specific materials and instructions.
Märästys – A persistent affliction among Preemio members, for which a cure is found only through unanimous agreement. The first epidemic occurred at Syysexculla in 2017.
NESU – Nordiska Ekonomie Studerandes Union, the organization for Nordic business students. NESU-Preemio has its own committee, which organizes all of Preemio's sitsit events.

Terho ry – The student organization for students in nursing science, health economics, public health science, social and health administration, health information management, sports medicine, and ergonomics in Kuopio. Preemio’s office neighbor.
