Suomen Ekonomit
Suomen Ekonomit – Finlands Ekonomer ry is the service and advocacy organization for business students (kylterit) and business graduates (ekonomit) in Finland, offering a wide range of services, member benefits, and career support at all stages. It is the fourth largest member organization in Akava, with approximately 60,000 student and graduate members. The professional staff of Suomen Ekonomit provides necessary information and advice for the workforce, as well as advocacy on income, labor market, and educational policy issues for both employees and employers.
You can easily join Suomen Ekonomit: Preemio is one of the fourteen student organizations affiliated with Suomen Ekonomit, so if you are a member of Preemio, you are also a member of Suomen Ekonomit.
In addition to the 14 student organizations, Suomen Ekonomit includes 25 local associations. In Kuopio, the local association is Pohjois-Savon Ekonomit ry (PoSE). Graduates join Suomen Ekonomit through their local association.

KOKO Fund
You can join the KOKO unemployment fund through the Finnish Business School Graduates (Suomen Ekonomit). By joining the fund while still a student, you may be eligible for income-related unemployment benefits if you do not find a job immediately after graduation.
